Gravel rashed froo froo white is the fastest color

A lot of info is here: Mission Statement but here's a short version:

I can't speak for the others, but much of this is not wanting to put time into a forum owned by what amounts to an ad agency.  I like the tech heavy and bullshit light environment, and that's how we're going to try to keep the DMF.  But it's purpose is sharing that knowledge, not selling ad space.   And while everyone develops friendships and comes to banter about all sorts of non-motorcycle topics with friends, it is still primarily a motorcycle forum.  We'd like it to remain as much as possible a place for adult discourse.

Unlike the mission statement, This thread will stay unlocked for feedback.

Paramount!  That is my primary use for the forum.  I think if that is maintained it will continue to grow.

Excellent. The other place grew from humble beginnings. I hope this is as successful!  wt: Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen for us. I have enjoyed several of the other alternative boards that have been opened as well. Though they all have there own charms and individual niches, it is nice that this place feels so like home.  be::

Considering that I'm locked out of the "DML" with log in issues, I'm glad this site is going up

I think any question as to 'Why we're here' can now be answered by logging into the remnants of the DML...   <sigh>

Thank you ...Thank you ...Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just logged onto the DML and saw what I had hoped wouldn't come to pass.

Like others, I will continue to check out the DML for a while but this looks like home to me.  (I like watching the aftermath of car wrecks too so that may explain  why I still want to visit the DML   :Smiley .   )

Oh BTW.  My old DML nickname was Pango.  I never really liked it so I've "upgraded"the name to PizzaMonster but my friends just call me Joe. wt:

Oh and my new most favorite smiley......... be::
