Hope this is the right section since this is a bit of the DIY stuff.  Here's a few online stores I've found that sell useful items for the DIY'er

All sorts of bolts in all sorts of materials - no minimums
http://www.boltdepot.com/

All sorts of tools - even the hard to find lefthanded drill bit
http://www.mytoolstore.com/

Anything you might want to build your dream garage.

Bolts, tools, miscellany:
http://www.mcmaster.com/

And if anyone is short on garage ideas:
http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/index.php

From dlearl476
In the middle of FCR installation, but here's a good one I just found:

http://www.accuratebearing.com/quote.php

And a couple from the "bookmarks":

http://www.tastynuts.com/site/frameset.htm

http://www.oringswest.com/

http://www.smallparts.com/

http://www.handyindustries.com/shop/subdepartment_view.asp?D=1&S=4

http://www.dirtbikestore.com/acatalog/DirtBikeStore_com_Tools_31.html

http://www.wurthusa.com/project/en/topnavi/home/startpage_1.html

If you've got some resources like this - add on to the list.  Sources for electrical OEM type connectors, wires, specialty tools, Ducati specialty tools woud all be good additions IMO

Ha! nice find.  I'd never seen that.  I'd only been looking for steel peg board and a few bits before.

I'd take that whole set up, soup, nuts, bike, and tools.   wt:

I think I'm going to add links from folks post to my original, just to keep stuff easy to find...

Anyone got a source for the ducati factory tools?

Good idea.  I will, too.

He, he, he.  Yeah, but you're not gonna like the answer.. Evil

Actually, I had a guy make me a thowout bearing puller one time.  Just sent him the dimensions of the bearing and he made it from scratch.  It's been a LONG time.  I'll see if I can find it.
One of the blessings of the fall of the Soviet Union and the subsequent immigration of a lot of folks from the area is that there are a lot of skilled machinists that learned to be very resourceful in the absence of "dealer networks". This guy was one.  He could make anything from the trigger assembly for an AK47 to a steering damper in his garage.
