Clean the surface you want to affix a sticker on.  Next peel the backing off the sticker.  Take windex and spray the sticky side of the sticker (no need to over saturate, just a good misting).  You can now put the sticker on the surface.  Because there is Windex on the back, the sticker will slide around as if it was on soap.  This allows you to move the sticker to the proper position.  Once there, then apply pressure from the inside of the sticker to the outside, squeezing out the excess Windex.  Since Windex also evaporates, the sticker will slowly become more and more sticky.  Diligently and slowly squeeze out any bubbles .  After about 1 minute, the sticker will be completely adhered to the surface.  Let sit for a few hours and you should have a solid seal!

I'd like to add that if your doing a large sticker, like say a motocross graphic, use a plastic squeegee to help you get the air bubbles out. (You can get them for around a $1 at any auto parts store. It also helps to spray a fine mist on the top of the sicker when your doing this, helps the squeegee slide better without harming the sticker.

I managed to tear the vinyl white stripe on the rear seat cover. I just ordered a new one from the dealer ($27) + tax and some shipping fees. Should I use a hair dryer to warm up the stripe, remove it, and then use windex to position the new one Huh?? Thanks.

Yup.  Then you can use Goo-Gone to clean up the old gunk before windexing.

I haven't had any issues, but you should always test in a concealed spot.

Thanks for the quick responses. I was happy to find this link because I was not sure how to accomplish replacing the stripe and not have it turn out looking worse than it already does. I will re-post with a few pics after I get the part in and try replacing it. Dealer says expect it to be about 2 weeks for it to arrive.
