It gets your heart rate up [thumbsup]
What? You've never been sore after a good long ride? If you're hitting the canyons and taking the turns at a spirited pace, it can definitely be an athletic endeavor.

I agree! I hit some very cool twisties this past saturday for about 2 hrs and I was sore the next day!! what a noob ;D
Riding a motorcycle can really help you work on core strength. Its an awesome workout! [thumbsup]
Wow it edged out the Buell Blast for the number one spot.
What the hell kinda list was that?
#1 M696
#2 Buell Blast
#3 Yamaha Fz6
#4 Ninja 250R
Even if you are focused to true entry level bikes... you really have 4 completely different beasts there... just seems odd to compare them side by side.

Don't tell me you're one of those guys that only rides to the coffee shop on a Duc...
My wife got me subscription to Mens' Fitness not knowing exactly what is was. After one issue I canceled it ...damn thing reads like a woman's magazine. I was hoping to see articles about surviving a ten day drunk, or building up your bone density in your head for head butting your boss ...but Noooo, instead it is filled with cute little compatibility/sexual quizzes, articles about the best colon cleanser and skin softners, to articles about how men have pms like women and how to handle it. ...this magazine screams metro-sexual

HEY that's a great excuse to get the wife on the back and go for a ride "Honey, you want some coffee?... Put your riding gear on"
Anyone else notice that throughout all four pages they had a pic of an S4R up in the right hand side?
I have measured my energy expenditure, riding with a scientific device strapped to my arm.
1 MET is resting - highway/twisties get 3-5 METS.
At 220 pounds, that equals 400 cal/hour - same as riding a bicycle or taking a slow jog. + is that you can do it for hours and really get a good amount of expenditure.
Subliminal messages... your not a man unless your on an pearl white S4Rs tearing corners up on the track
I dont get "sore" from the "workout" you get from riding.
I get "cramps" from not being able to move much for 8 hours.
as for mens fitness, its a BS mag. Mens health is where its at boys. [thumbsup]

Yep _______ <---- Insert comment about needed a real Monster on the page.
I'm just kinda wondering if they put Statler on the payroll or if it was just a freelance gig.
