Title: Need to buy/borrow a front stand... Post by: duc_fan on August 26, 2008, 11:43:09 AM Hey all,
I know someone had a frontstand for sale... dunno if it's still out there or not. I need a front stand next week, so I can take the wheels off the SS and haul them to Cycle Gear to have the new tires installed. Wondering if someone has one I can borrow, or if Mo or E still has one for sale... I plan to haul the wheels to CG on Tuesday of next week (I'm taking that week following Labor Day off), and they said it's a next-day turnaround, so I could probably have them back to you by Wednesday night, depending on when CG gets done and I can pick 'em up. I really need to invest in a frontstand, since I now have 2 bikes. I'd like one that holds it by the steering stem. Anyway, if someone with a stand available to borrow could get back to me, I am offering a six-pack of microbrew (your preference) in exchange for the use of your stand for a couple days. It's a PitBull that grabs the bottom of the fork, fine for tire swaps but not fork work. I'm in Lake O. I'll PM you my address.
