Specifically 2k7 695 if it matters... On my '05 S2R The DP C/F Cowl did not fit well with the DP Gel Seat. When I did get it to fit, the cowl was so tweeked that it hit the grab rails upon lowering the seat. Title: Re: Seat cowl with touring gel seat? I'm pretty sure if fits the DSS bikes no problem. I know NAKID has the gel seat and a cowl. If I were you I'd pm him. He's pretty cool about sharing knowledge and FHE. Well, just recently, I was looking over my bike and noticed that the cowl is actually touching the grab rails and has wore the paint off down to the metal. I'm not sure if some tweaking will help, but I'll probably give it a shot. I can't exactly take the cowl off now since I have a line of paint missing from each rail... I should probably sell the danged thing. err... things.

Post by: Carman on September 15, 2008, 10:20:51 PM OK, well I got back and put my gel seat on and the stock cowl fits a little tight but it does fit. No problem with anything rubbing anywhere (paint that is)
