Just wanted to get a pinned thread up here for any and all new comers so they wouldn't have to search all the threads for meet up spots and events.  It's a standing date to meet at Phantom on Tuesdays.  It's on the corner of Cascade and Pikes Peak right next to the Antlers Hotel.

Okay, I'm a bad Pres... Tuesday is such a terrible day for me.  I'm putting next   Tuesday on my Calendar and riding the Duc to work.

Brew, KRJ, his wife Shannon, and I. Had fun talking all things motorized.... and, *cough* explosive  [thumbsup] Good times, Perhaps mixing in a Thursday would be good. Duckrider would possibly be available as well. I'm pretty open, no real preferrence at the moment.

Shannon and I enjoyed  the visit, nice to learn a little more about each other. had an excellant ride home, bright moon,warm, no critters to dodge,very hard to go straight home.  looking foreward to the next meeting / ride !!

I would come but I do fundraising for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Tuesday nights.  But come the end of October that should be over with.  Didn't this Duc meet used to be a Thursday night gig?  Looking forward to riding on the Sept 21st.  Oh By the way, HELLO, my first post.   ;D

WooHoo!!!  Thought I was gonna fly solo tonight, and we ended up w/ 4 Ducs out front!!!!  Hopefully next week we'll have even more after I twist some arems on Sunday!  Maybe....just maybe we can get Sean to show his face!!!!

Sup Bro, Dan, aka Monsterbrew was kinda the anchor for this little shin dig... he moved to Bahston, cause that's where the Celtics/RedSox/Patriots/Pengiuns(maybe soon good young players) play and he follows championship teams around like a weird roadie. Hey Kyle!  I just logged in and saw your post.  It's a little late now, but if I'd have seen it earlier, I'd have run down there to meet up with you.  That would have been freaky, with no one getting married or baptized or playing soccer or hunting Easter eggs, huh?  Have you been riding your Monster much?  I had mine out today for awhile.  The weather was too nice to leave him hunkered down in the Monster garage.  I ran over to the shop and said hi to Smitch.  I'll see you around I'm sure.   [thumbsup]

Yea, that would be a bit wierd with nothing going on with the fam. Either way, I am looking forward to getting down there once the bike is legal. Still sitting here waiting for the bike to get its own title. Sadly I have only ridden it .3 miles since it has been running. I will stay posted so I am in the know for the next meet.

So....  I know tomorrow's Monday, but....  Supposedly it'll be the warmest day of the week...  Anybody up for a midday thing?  Maybe with Phantom Cyn at the end?  Show me a couple roads around the city I lived around for a decade without ever searching our paved roads past?

Then beer, with beercheese soup, and beer bread of course!

So I was sitting at Phantom Canyon having lunch today and I rememberred that theoretically there's a Ducati group that meets here every Tuesday....

Does this thing still happen?  Around what time?  The thread says Tuesday nights, but I noticed it's not only warmer in the afternoons, but there's this thing called happy hour wherein beer is cheaper and pool table use is free!! 

What say you?!

Unless you're on your laptop, I guess you won't get this to you get home.  I am always up for DucNight, it can be DucAfternoon just as well.  Happy Hour doesn't affect the price of my drinks, but I am all about free pool.  Also, doesn't have to be Tuesdays.  Post up a couple hours or a day in advance and I'll make every effort to be there.  Anyone else game?   8)

Other than the fact that my employer and my banker like me to WORK every friggin' day, yes I'm into it, the geographical aspect also comes into play, Friday eve's work good, exept the place is prolly packed, maybe??  will like to set up a fri. eve thing on the 9th if possible??.. say 6:00 then I could sneak outta' here, catch my Wife and meet you folks there. what are the logistics of that??  The billiards are a friend of mine so I would like to meet them there too...Oh and then there is the BEER thing I love also, MMmmm... Depending on the weather, I can be there on Friday night.  I'm taking a load of WannaDucBad's stuff down to Albuquerque Saturday morning.  But if Raton Pass is going to get nasty, I'll have to leave Friday instead.  Hope to see you there.

 Bonfy,   I thought You would go today, My wife left this morning for a Family emergency in north Texas,She said the weather was still great for Her drive ,I will be staying close to the house for a while. Will have to try again soon.   Smokescreen, You'll have to take up the slack, maybe find some New Recruits, should be some good Pool shots around there tho'. keep the Felts groomed!! [thumbsup]

I didn't get out of town until 4:00.  It was bad between Colorado Springs and Walsenberg.  Added at least an hour to my trip and I found out that the dually actually does better in 2-wheel high than 4-wheel high.  I need to check my tire sizes to see if they are the same front and back.  Or my gear ratios may be off.  All I know is the back end was pushing when I put it in 4-wheel drive.   Flurries between Las Vegas and Santa Fe, too, but all is well that ends well.  I was trying to make it down in time for the 1100 unveiling at PJ's.  I hope Smokescreen didn't venture out on the Duc in that soup tonight.   

Not to worry.  I had an early day and with poor weather, i decided to stay in a relax...  Need to prep for all out assault on job market this next week.

So, it's a beautiful day today with highs in the mid sixties. 

I need to spend most of the day wrapping up my house painting and cleaning, but I was wondering if come mid afternoon any of you's wanna meet up at PC for a barley pop?  I'm open to the whens, so message me if you are interested, and I'll make the detour!  I could do with a little beercheese soup too....  In preparation for the cold month.  Which looks to be next week.

I'd pop in, but I am in Albuquerque.  I made it to DucNight down here last night.  Got some great shots which I will post on the NMMR when I get back.  I have one more trip before Feb. 1st, then will be around alot more for impromptu Duc gatherings.  Yea!!!!!! [thumbsup]

It was a sad day in Colorado Springs today....  I saw not another Ducati on the road.  Harleys?  In bulk...  Ricers??  Almost as many as Harleys...  I even saw a guy out on the new V-Maxx!  Ducatis on a warm sunny day in Colorado?  Nope.  I'm pretty sure mine was the only uncorked Italian adding to the pollution.  I almost teared up a little.  Except, I was on my Ducati, so I was alright!

   Thanks for carrying the Duc crowd today, I am sure you did us proud, Smokescreen.   That's how I felt in Sturgis last year.  I saw two Ducati's during the whole trip (not counting Smitch in Monument).   
   Yup, it has been back and forth at least four times this month.  Just quick turn-around trips while I finish moving my stuff up here.  I am still job hunting in both places so if anyone knows of anything, send me a pm.   [thumbsup]

I know it ain't pc and I'm no sure it's Tuesday...  But I prefer the beer at Bristol.  So that's where I am just now :) sampling the XXX warlock and getting a growler of porter filled for fridge beer.  We should go here from time to time.  They've got great beer and a shuffleboard table!

I think it went well...  I suppose I know for sure when I get a callback...  Which should be tomorrow...  It sure would be nice to be gainfully employed again.  I can't imagine my bike would like me much if I couldn't afford gas and tyres....

We need to reestablish a DucNight, after Monsterbrew and Scottish left, it's paled. I know I haven't been there either, but weeknights don't work for me. We need to figure a time and place that fits more people's schedule and style, then make an effort to promote attendance..I would like to hear some opinions on this, thnx.

You know I'm in!!!  Let's do it!  Even the NMMR has been suffering some poor attendance and weather isn't even a factor down there (IMHO).  As my dear compadre Kawboy put it today:  Two is a date, three is a DucNight, and four is a party.  I'm ready to see some Ducati's filling the parking lots around town.  We can keep it moving, share the wealth, and make the locations convenient to everyone on a rotating basis or we can name the place and make it a standard "be there or be square" kind of deal.  Just show up and hope to run into somebody else sporting a Duc.  Either way works.   8)

I'm down with weekend nights weather permitting.  Lemme know what you's wanna do!

Hey!  It was a great evening for the patio at Phantom Canyon.  Dusty made her debut at a SoCo DOG DucNite and brought Mr. Bacon with her.  Glad to meet you MikeTheBike427.  It will be fun to get some rides in this season with you.  Group consensus is to try South Side Johnny's next time.  Watch this thread to find out where DucNite will be held (if you are planning on coming out).

Bick, are you still wanting to doa get-together?  Looks like it is narrowed down now to Friday afternoon unless you want to do a run to Canon City.  Just got the word that Saturday is mandatory overtime but I may make it out by noon to take a ride to Canon City to check out the Blossom Festival.

  I am also trying to get out of the shop around noon, looks promising at the moment, keep in touch. I will post as soon as I get to the house...

I'm hoping Bick will check in on the board and let us know if he is available.  Saturday is the day that I will try to be off by noon.  Tomorrow I am not sure how soon I will get out.  Probably not till 3 at the earliest.  There aren't enough hours in the day this week.  I will give Bick a call in the morning if he does not check in on the board.

Okay, Bick is out of the picture.  I'm working till 3 this afternoon, then have to meet with the plumbing company who are going to be putting in a new line on Monday.  So if I get to ride at all this weekend, it will be after I get off tomorrow.  I am leaning towards a ride down to Canon City to check out the Blossom Festival and find Keith and Shannon if they're out and about.
