Good for night riding visibility, but not my style.
I've always wondered how much extra wind noise those generate.
wouldn't the light point to the back of the helmet? I shouldn't think it'd produce much noise if any as it should be mostly behind the crest of the dome.
Anyone ever seen in IRL? I wonder if it is bright enough so cagers can see it during the day. mo:t:
Functional maybe but sure ruins a nice helmet.
I like the BSG reference, but the wind-powered thing seems gimicky. There is no way I'm taping or glueing ANYTHING to my Schuberth.
they scare deer, raccoons, and small children away too

So you definitely won't be "rearended" by a deer, raccoon or small child while wearing this [cheeky]
um, wouldn't you have to stick it on the front of you helmet to look like a cylon? ;D

I could see a squid doing that.
Thats cheap! I think they were selling them for like $30.00, I think it would be cool if you ride alot at night I dont think you can see the LEDS during the day time. I might get one just to see how it works.
