Title: $11 clutch cover came up alright
Post by: roy-nexus-6 on August 28, 2008, 02:47:40 AM
Thanks to all the people who offered advice re opening my clutch up. Sounds unbelievable.

Thanks again to Spider, who pointed me in the right direction (Monsterparts), and even organized to get me my springs for next to no postage.  [beer]

This is what I was talking about when I said I was going for 'low key' i.e. sans bling :D

I like that (if you couldn't tell).

powdercoated or you painted yourself - what paint did you use - thinking about doing the throttle body in black.

Yap! Cusom belt covers is my next project :D

Powdercoated, along with headlamp ring, and framework which holds the footpegs and exhausts ($65.00).

I thought the matt finish would be a bit too dull - so went for satin. But the satin is REALLY black.. so it almost looks like a gloss coat. I want to see how it wears - might lose a little of that sheen with time.

Thanks again!  [thumbsup]
