Got a dumb question. I recently removed my clutch cover in anticipation of going vented and bling pressure plate. Something when I stop at a red light, I'll detect a faint synthetic oil smell. There seems to be no leakage from the oil filter and nut or the dry clutch. Is just the oil lubricating the other side of the dry clutch and normal? Thansk! It was good that you were tuned in enough to catch it at this point. now just keep an eye for oil leaks at the clutch housing to case . The sealer the factory uses is pretty good but if the bond broke it may weep.
