Here is how to solve it ... add these lines to your etc/hosts file (wherever that is depending on your OS):
127.0.0.1 m1.2mdn.net 127.0.0.1 ads.verticalscope.com 127.0.0.1 ad.doubleclick.net 127.0.0.1 oascentral.verticalscope.com 127.0.0.1 afe.specificclick.net 127.0.0.1 adopt.specificclick.net It will cause all the ad requests to go to your local computer. This will greatly speed up the site.
