I was looking for you on the other site, but I played with some addresses and found you here.
My wife and I just moved to Alexandria a few months ago. I work some long hours, so I probably won't make it to your wednesday meets; however, a weekend meet would be great. I'll keep my eyes open. I just purchased my first Ducati (always wanted one, but couldn't afford one at the time) a couple of weeks ago and I'm slowly getting it ready for the road. I'm changing the fluids, tires, and am having the timing belts replaced. I have the LT Snyder manual. I've been on and around bikes since I was 5 years old and my brother and 64 year old father race flat track. Looking forward to sharing ideas, helping other ducati riders, and meeting up with you at some point.

This wasn't a post about the bike. It was a post to say hello. No, I only have one photo right now. I'm in the military and have been on duty assignments until just recently. I'll post pics once I'm finished with the maintenance and etc. The attached pic is one taken at the dealership while waiting for some inspection work.

welcome and pardon Ducatista's sarcasm if you didn't get it .....sometimes it just isn't clear without tonality of speech and I happen to know her style and what she was getting at....in our group we also try and spot one another out on the road (see "spottings" pinned thread) so it is nice to know exactly what bike might be whose...anyways...welcome...and we are usually at the Wednesday spot till 9,10,11ish even...so you may be able to join us some evening!

Thanks all! I know Ducatista was kidding around. I plan on posting more pics too once I get the bike back. I do most of the maintenance my self, but I stay away from the belts and valves. I'm not that brave! So, the bike is going to Coleman today to get some new belts. Will be gone for a week or so. Being bikeless sucks! All the shops I called are backed up. :P
I've been keeping my eye on the "spotted" forum. Actuall, I'm going to post there. I had a spotting this weekend.
