 Labor Day the bf and I planned an easy ride up to Pt. Reyes. Gorgeous weather, tons of cars  :(, fabulous roads and scenery  :). On the way I saw a yellow 748, so I waved (of course), and he pulled up next to me in the lane and introduced himself at a red light. How nice, I thought... as I zipped through traffic a little to catch up to my bf, and 748 tagged along....

Almost all the way! Along the way we also picked up a yellow Triumph Daytona, and since I usually lead when the bf and I are riding together, I found myself leading the group between the cars, along the shoulder (whatever it takes), through the twisties, and over the hills and through the woods to the beach!  :o

My first group ride! I told my bf it was funny to think of me being the "leader of the pack," and he said, you're more like the den mother...  [bang]  [laugh]

I have yet to do a group ride, but I've only been riding for about a month so it's still a little early. I think I'd be fine in a small group of mild mannered folk at this point though.

I have done SMALL groups only few times-but only included hubbi, good friend and daughter's boyfriend. Went nicely, but felt too NEW lol   

I AM getting ready to do first real, BIG group ride end of month and in NC....not the big mountains yet, but Blue Ridge Parkway to Virginia...first day ride planned is 300 MILES OUCH!!!  Thankfully, they are talking about shortening this WHEW!  Even "worse" is, meeting up with big group of HOOLIGANS lol...naaaw...but hubbi's Triumph Speed Triple forum doods....and yes, ALL DOODS ug.  Anyone who can come keep me company???? PLEEZ????  lol   So, wish me LUCK and keep us posted on UR group rides...hope I am ready.....
