One of my all time favorite videos.... I don't remember how much cement they used: 10 tons? 40?  [thumbsup]

Amazing.
And we spend big bucks to cool a building and they do it naturally.
They pumped in 10 tons of cement.
The ants removed 40 tons of dirt to make the "City"

Ants don't work for money, and they work as a community (okay, not really meaning to go this direction).
And they're proportionally much stronger than humans. Oh, and they don't have the interwebs to distract them.

it says 10 tons but i think that is dry weight before mixing in water.  plus, i think they used very diluted mix so it would flow into all the caverns etc.

pretty wild.

Reminds me of some of Paolo Soleri's (http://www.arcosanti.org/project/background/soleri/main.html) Archogy sketches.
