I'm gonna try and sell my 2002 R6 race bike at the end of the season and I'm kind of testing the waters here. It has a clean title and current tabs and could totally be made back into a street bike. It has spares galore and top parts from woodcraft, vortex, penske, speegler, crg, and more. Truth is I love this bike and it has never missed a beat, it's solid, straight, and a great bike. However it is nearing 30000 miles! at 27000 I had some engine work done. it is as solid as it was when I bought it with 4000 on the clock and has been a trackbike for 2 years now. If I don't sell it I will be turning it back to the street in 09 and aiming for 50000 before 2010. PM me if intrested. Photo's can be seen at;
www.teamatomicracing.com or at www.momentumphoto.net it's the 410 bike.
The only reason I want to sell it is to make room for a new bike. It would be a great package for someone who wants to start doing track days or maybe get a foot in the door to race. This is the whole package spare, tires, bike, everything. It just needs you. [thumbsup] [bacon]
Well I never got my stuff together to sell this thing until about now. It now has new galfer rotors and pads and I just redid the front brakes. it's in street trim now and I'm looking for $3200 and if you pay that and want it I have a whole stack of takeoffs that would go with it to get you through a season of track days and a set of sharkskins bodywork. Also a spare rear wheel and a bunch of other parts to go with. please buy so i can cut some debt before next race season. [bacon] Really this is a great package for a track day person who also wants a street bike or the ability to sell as a street bike with a clean title when they upgrade or decide that the track isn't for them. PM me for pics or check them out on the links above[bacon]
Guys, this is a solid bike. If anyone is looking for a great trackday bike, this is it. I've ridden this and it handles great and is surprisingly fast. [beer]
