Yeah, it's visordown. But I believe it [thumbsup] Title: Re: Gibernau on new Satelite Ducati for 2009 Post by: Spidey on September 05, 2008, 03:37:24 PM Fack. Just keep him away from Stoner and Hayden and all the other Ducs. He can crash into Pedrobot as much as he wants.
Title: Re: Gibernau on new Satelite Ducati for 2009 Post by: darylbowden on September 05, 2008, 03:51:26 PM I hope they figured their additional parts costs into the equation when negotiating his salary.
Title: Re: Gibernau on new Satelite Ducati for 2009 Post by: Spidey on September 05, 2008, 03:53:28 PM You didn't read the article closely enough. They already took that into account. He'll be riding both the 5th and 6th bikes. [cheeky]

He can crash into Pedrobot as much as he wants. everybody likes to bring that up, but they all forget how capi won his 250 championship against harada. some background, it was a title fight between capi and harada (teamates on the aprilia factory team) with winner takes all at the final round in argentina. this was the final turn of the final lap: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W41JLPv-yqQ Title: Re: Gibernau on new Satelite Ducati for 2009 Post by: Spidey on September 05, 2008, 04:21:01 PM <hypocrisy> Yeah, but I like Capi. So it's ok. [cheeky]
Truth be told, my digust with Sete has waned somewhat. I'd love to see him break the curse. Couse, I'm only gonna feel that way until he starts taking out some Ducs or otherwise shows himself to be Rossi's pregnant dog. Again. I think it will be interesting to see Gibernau in the line up again. He was a good racer but he had some nasty spills, especially that one in was it Catalunya where he took out something like 4 people. Title: Re: Gibernau on new Satelite Ducati for 2009 Post by: sh on September 08, 2008, 11:21:18 AM Gibernau? I thought Rossi made him retire.
Title: Re: Gibernau on new Satelite Ducati for 2009 Post by: darylbowden on September 08, 2008, 11:56:48 AM Gibernau? I thought Rossi made him retire. Ducati's trying to turn the factory team into a Rossi-Mindmake the beast with two backs Anonymous (RMA) chapter. They figure they can save money by having group therapy sessions as opposed to the more costly one-on-one alternatives. They're also trying to sign Max to the Xerox WSBK team so they can really get their money's worth. Title: Re: Gibernau on new Satelite Ducati for 2009 Post by: OT on September 09, 2008, 07:01:28 PM It's just a contest to see whether Sete's latest GF is hotter than Casey's (very young) wife....as neither one ever again expects to beat Rossi...

I guess with Sete (possibly) back at Ducati, they'll have a chance to get revenge on him. ;) n.b. I'm not a Gibernau fan! Title: Re: Gibernau on new Satelite Ducati for 2009 Post by: desmoquattro on October 18, 2008, 04:56:50 PM It's Quasi-Official:

He has serious talent and he's done some good lap times on the GP8, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him fighting for podiums next year. Hopefully he realizes that he isn't racing for the championship next year and just goes out there and rides without pressure and to the best of his ability. If he lets the pressure of a championship and Rossi get in his head, he'll end up ON his head too often.
