Post by: vw151 on May 08, 2008, 04:35:31 PM
I posted in the parts wanted portion but I am looking for any help I can get in locating or repairing a showa fully adjustable fork from a 2006 S2R 1000.  Anyone selling 1.

Moved the thread in here.

Generally, cross posting isn't permitted, but since you're asking repair also, we'll let it go.

I saw your post "over there" and wasn't sure you were here, but since you are...

If you can, take a pic of the bend, contact Rob at Evolution Suspension, and see what he thinks. I work for him...well, not right now. I'm on medical leave for a few months... and I've seen him work wonders with parts that I would've tossed long ago! wt:

As long as you haven't bent it to the point that the stanchion is bent (the inner tube of the fork), it should straighten without a problem.

You can email him: evolutionmail@sbcglobal.net or you can find him on BARF. His screen name is UKtech1.

Good luck!
