Title: 09 696 Tank pad or cushioning options? Post by: NekkedChic on September 11, 2008, 04:33:44 AM Anyone have same "probs" I have with having to sit so far forward on seat at certain times that tank is, let's say, bit uncomfortable and could use some "cushion"?? Considering tank pad, but not sure if any available for newer 696 with split tank...maybe a "strip" kind of protector just for middle piece? Oh and NOT CF or clear???
Tried contacting Immortal Graphix, who DO custom tank pads, but they cannot seem to give me a straight up answer if anything they have will work with 696. I'm having some extra padding and a little slope put into the front of my touring seat by a local uphoulstry guy. I'll post pics when I get a chance.
