Title: FREE BEER FOR SERVICES
Post by: 2XLR8U on September 18, 2008, 08:22:25 AM
 [drink]

Okay, here is my situation.  As you may know I am moving to the area on Saturday.  Today the movers picked up my stuff in Germany and I will obviously beat it back to the states.

Problem:  I have a Zard Full Exhaust to be delivered at my place in Maryland within the week (bikes already there), but I have no tools.  Additionally this will be the first "Tweak" I make on my Duc ('07 S2R800).  I want to have the exhaust installed before I go to Bikefest if at all possible.

Solution:  Case of beer for services rendered?  I could quite possibly bring bike and pipes to your location to make things even easier.

Thanks in advance to any with enough time on their hands to help.

I'm in the White Marsh area and have a variety of tools and a garage.  Will be around Saturday evening/night.

The 21st?  You are trying to get this done by the Viva Italia thing right?

I fly in on the 20th, would like to see if I can get this done by the 27th for the bike fest in Shepherdstown, WV. (http://www.italianmotofest.com/index.html)

Thanks!

If you want to drive to Alexandria, VA to do it, you can bring it to my place.  I have ALL the tools necessary for sure and I will be home Sunday prepping our bikes and trailer for VIR in 3 weeks.

Sounds good, then I can give you the 20 bucks I've been trying to pay you!!! haha.  I think I know what the problem is...the link sees my IP address and won't let the connection go through for some reason because I'm in Germany.

I'll figure out how to get both down there and let you know.   I think I have your # don't I?  The I gave you earlier may not work, I'm having issues with the domain...they keep dropping me.

Let me know if you guys need help, I'm especially good at consuming beer, but also able to help wrench. Anyway we can get Speed out in the garage, WSBK is on starting at 2PM. - Gene

Awesome, are you coming over to Eric's?  I fly tomorrow morning (if I'm not too hung over and miss my flight) and when I get in town I'll let you know when my pipes come in.  Look forward to meeting everyone.

Just wanted to publicly thank Eric E. for his help.  The results were incredible.  The bike sounds awesome.  No PC3, just the pipes and it runs great.
