Sounds good but may be in Perth that weekend as a mate I grew up with will be home from Dubai for a visit.
It's getting to that crazy time of the year already.  The other day we made a booking to catch up with some friends and the earliest date we were all available was early December!  I'm voting to make Christmas in July.  [thumbsup]

course you'll still have a bike! I spent 6 months looking for a nice one and spoke to a lot of sellers - there is a huge amount of wankers out there...selling a bike is hard work apparently!

OK  if getting together this Saturday we need to decide a venue.
My thoughts are city, considering a couple of people might be Monster-less, easy transport.

I went to a cool place last week, has the Spider seal of approval (but so far Cavallero in Smith St wins, she..oops..I mean the food, was brilliant).

Place was Cumulus Inc. in flinders Lane (45) about 100m from Spring street at the top of the city.

It would be a 9 o'clock breakfast.

and Ita, the young waitresses are all whipper-snappers....bring the white uniform!

and...good parking (on the extra wide footpath) opposite the glass windows for all the bikes (think it's sheltered too).

I'll also say Hotel Max on Commercial road - bout 400m (a block and a bit) from st kilda road. haven't been there but comes recommended!

Went to Pearl Cafe when it opened - thought it was absolute yuppified crap - reminded me of Venice - meant to be good but really just exists to remove your money from you ASAP and treat you with contempt. Biggest let down food wise for me all year.

Well due to work commitments I haven't been able to get the name of the Elizabeth street venue so.... Spider has been a good at choosing venues so far, we might run with the Cumulus

Gunna have to fix stripped 6mm bolt now that holds the clutch cover/housing.  :o

I was checking and cleaning the beast after getting drowned coming back from the Island and I find an oil leak (seep) from the back of the clutch housing.  ???
Duly got the allen key out to check for bolt tension and BLAH!! the long bolt at the back and 3 down from the top was just sorta hanging there!!  [roll]

It appears that it was only connecting by about 4 or 5 threads and for some reason they have let go. Strange cos I havent touched that one as its one of them that you dont have to remove to take the cover off. Some ham fisted bastard in the past has more than likely used an impact gun and then used some thread locker/adhesive to cover their tracks (By the look of the blue substance on the end of the bolt.) >:(

I hope a longer bolt will have enough thraed to grip, or its off with the clutch, basket et al and the cover and out with the helicoils.........................geeez grouse!! :(

I love track days, but only did two on Mille because she would be so expensive to repair if shit happened...   On my previous bike (Kawa) I'd do 6 or more a year...   Also the rego and insurance for a bike I rarely used was money I can make better use of...
