Well, I had a selection for a new job that I have been training and applying for. If I passed on my way home my reward was to drive the Dragon. So, 18 Sep in my cage, I slayed the Dragon! I spent almost 3 hrs there, talking to people, taking pictures, driving back and forth. It was the best reward anyone could ask for....ok, it would have been better on my bike, but even in my car it was still an absolute BLAST!

There were a handleful of Duc's there. 1098, 749, 2x ST2, ST4, SS750
Honorable Mentions: The 50+ restored Cushmans, Triumph SpeedTriple, a Load of superMotos(aprilia, suzuki, yamaha, husq.) And the Cayman S.
i am love'n that black honda
The Dragon was cool but WAAAAY too many patrol cars...lots of other lesser known roads in the area that are just as fun and not as heavy with Johnny Law.
Yea, it's heavily patrolled, but neat to sit around a people/bike watch. That CBX and that Cushman look awesome!

I only had 2 LEOs on the route, and they were cool about everything. They did however pull over 2 Semi trucks that went through the gap and caused some clogging issues.
Hwy 28- Way bad @$$. Speed limit was 50mph, no LEOs, and the road was just as fun.
US129 south of the Gap is still a blast and again LEOs aren't focused there.
good times....good times, the people there were the best part. Harley to high end metric choppers....sportbikes and supermotos...leather and armor clad to T-shirts and shorts, everyone was just hanging out. Admiring each others works of art and talking about their time on the route.

I rode 28 south of the Gap yesterday. It is awesome, limit is 55 and I didn't see a single 5-0 the whole time ~

55mph!!! I was robbed of 5 mph! Oh well.
If that's the case, I'm sure I took care of that 5mph and then some for ya [laugh]
