Title: Custom cans for S4Rs Post by: TAftonomos on September 25, 2008, 04:55:51 PM Just something I'm working on, thought I'd share.
A pair of custom meg's. I've made the baffles, and just need to mount the hangar(s) up, then install baffles and weld on reverse-cone to the tips. Looks a bit long on my bike, but the customers bike is without the tail chop, so it should be perfect. Just installed a nichols flywheel, and had the trouble with the genny bolt thing.

Some super trapp disks at the ends would look... flat track-ish??? or something - but I think the reverse megaphones will look great! Pics when you are done please :)

Actually, with my new exhaust, there won't be any problems with the boot print :) Baffles? YES. I lived in daytona beach for the past 8 years, and listening to annoying harlys running up and down the beach makes me frown on excessive noise. I'll build whatever someone wants within reason, but an unmuffled 2 cylinder bike sounds horrible in my opinion (not so humble). |
