Because it may look better to the buyer. Almost a silly question............almost. It's almost like asking: "why buy a monster?" There are other bikes that will perform just as good, if not better for the price. The problem with that is...boring. People want things to be THEIRS. Whether it be stickers, changing perfectly good parts, or paint jobs...people like to be different. Title: Re: gas cap swap? i have to say that they look really cool, but with today's prices of gas i'm not putting it past people to siphon gas straight out of a tank that isn't locked, as a deterrant. but they do look really cool. blue one would look cool on the yellow monster. |
