my friend picked one ofthose up at a garage sale in grenwich a few years bck for like 6k. lucky bastard. he's always stepping in it.  it is highly colectable and people always offer him way more money than what he bought it for.

nothing better than a store that sells t-shirts for $400

Not a bad price considering what NM catalogue items are normally marked up at. Called by buddy who works there and normally gets me a discount on my clothing. Said he cant get a discount on anything in the catalogue... [bang] .... and chances are... it is sold out before they announce it.

The Hyper Motard is too hooligan for the cashmere turtleneck crowd.

Note to self: Get rid of those cashmere sweaters that I got at Nordstoms last year.

No, it wasn't the 'Tard.

It was my old S4.

Check it out here. (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=5204.0)

There're more detailed pics later on in the thread.

That is just rough anyway you cut it.  Glad it wasn't the TARD...but just horrible that it had to be the S4...why could this kind of thing happen to a Honda Rebel (no wait that is still a bike)... an AMC Pacer?

Robb Report has a much cooler Christmas gift-list. Last year they sold a Veyron with a trip to Molsheim, track time at the test track, and one of Ettore Bugatti's brother's sculptures. Considering you didn't need to get onto the waiting list for it, some lucky rich person got a "deal". A few years back they sold a Ferrari F1 car with spares and the service of an engineering team to maintain it, before that they sold an ex-superbike Ducati 998RS with dinner in Bologna with the race team.
