sorry, thought it was a joke! there was a sketch in MCN some time ago about what a Ducati would look like if you got half the 1098 engine and Desmosedici styling - thought this picture was from that.

Not sure the LAMS market is a place the marketing dept. of Ducati what to go? Remember they are after the premium market (and money) !

??? Isn't 549 + 549 = 1098  ???

yeah, except I'm a banker so it's actually 549 + 549 + interest = 1198 !  ;D

Hmmmm, track bike.
Could be cheaper than trying to run an 848?

I have only just notice that it is a under engine exhaust system
unless it is single swing arm, otherwise  :'(

Yeah, it's that MCN photochop, the "other" half of a 696 tacked onto a 848/1098r combo. Top of rear tyre shows smudging where 696 cans removed.
Still, I would be interested in something like that.

and if that 748s of yours is red, then I'll accept your hand-me-downs kind sir!  [thumbsup]

(actually sat on a 748 and fit it quite well....as best as a 2 meter man can!)

Never sell a bike - that's what your wife's birthday is for!  ;D

748s:           "ta Da! look hon, it's what you've always wanted - a beautiful motorcycle"
wife of 748s: "It looks like the one you had...."
748s:            "used to have, hon, used to. and yes, it's surprising that!"

To which my wife would say: 'at least now someone will ride it ... PROPERLY!'

That's why they (yes, plural, more than one  [roll]) have never been happy with their birthday/christmas presents. They wanted the bike [laugh].
