I'm new to the area of San Diego and it's confusing to me what people consider SoCal so I'd thought I pop up a roll call so I can see where people really are so I can meet some folks!
Ruben- Gaslamp Quarter/District (however named) San Diego, CA.
yeah officially SoCal includes San Diego, but I think most people here are LA with a few OC peeps.
You might look for DOCSD.

Nah, sans avocado.
I do believe everything south of Bakersfield ( aka the "armpit" of Cal) is considered "So Cal".

I was going to say anything south of Santa Barbara and it seems I'd be right... [popcorn]
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_California (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_California)
Using the Tehachapi Mountain range as the key to a northern boundary, as well as the east-west trending Santa Ynez Mountain range, Santa Barbara . The city of Santa Barbara[9] is widely held to be in Southern California, due to the mild climate and the westward alignment of the coastline, but Bakersfield and most of Kern County are most commonly regarded as a part of the Central Valley.

True, but I believe this community has made an exception for our BP. Anyone who's willing to travel 150 miles for a burger and drink just to ride back gets a special exemption.
Luvs ya BP!
:-*
got me some cold weather gear, so's I can make the trip over the hill when the temps really drop [moto]

I didn't know we were discussing membership residence rules. I thought it was a question about "what's so cal?"
Of course BP is the man. He's also the reason no one can make up any type of excuse for why they couldn't make it and not look like a wuss.

He's the anti-Tarik.
btw, anyone hear from him lately? Seems like ever since he sold his monster and bought that ill-fated 916, things went downhill between him and the socal peeps.

I haven't been to So Cal in over ten years. I think I forgot the way. Because of the IZ_ vagueness in my memory about the south land, I keep thinking that the world ends someplace south of Monterey. [cheeky]
