Title: FatDuc O2 Manipulator Post by: Six95 on October 05, 2008, 05:14:04 PM Sorry if you have read this but I put this post on the main board as well.

I just realised it will not work with the DP ECU considering that the O2 sensor is completely removed and blanked off. Title: Re: FatDuc O2 Manipulator Post by: suzyj on May 20, 2010, 10:11:27 PM Hey, these things are cool.
I just bought one from Desmo Times and put it on my 695. No more surging, lovely smooth idle, and much more manageable. That's all at the minimum setting (14.2/1). I think my temp has dropped, too, though it's hard to say given that the air temp has also dropped. Well worth the money, methinks. Title: Re: FatDuc O2 Manipulator Post by: 888906 on May 21, 2010, 11:50:34 PM I fitted one to a 695 the other day, it worked really well. Smoothed out the idle and stopped all the popping and farting on over run. Its the first I have fitted a fat Duc and the owner seems very happy with the result.
Mike Desmo Clinic Title: Re: FatDuc O2 Manipulator Post by: Monstar_100 on May 30, 2010, 10:45:40 PM Ok, I can get these for all monsters if people are interested...

Suz what exactly do you mean by surging?I just bought one from Desmo Times and put it on my 695. No more surging, lovely smooth idle, and much more manageable. I have read about this but never experienced it (Im talking bikes here DOW's) Or would having the Termi ECU open airbox negate said surging. The effect I was getting was really noticeable pootling (that's a technical term) around in traffic at ~3K rpm. Without moving the throttle, the engine would suddenly pick up for a couple of seconds. Made it a bit of a handful in traffic. That and the burnt plugs / obviously hot heads convinced me it was running lean. Anyway, it's as tame as a kitten now. Yep, mine did this too and backfired a fair bit, but after the Termis, ECU etc it all stopped. As standard they are tuned to comply with Emissions Standards. The ECU fixed the problem on mine. The effect I was getting was really noticeable pootling (that's a technical term) around in traffic at ~3K rpm.
