So about 3 weeks ago i ordered the corbin saddle in high gloss carbon fiber material.... Then i read all the bashing of how the seat looks and thought ooohhhh snap i made a mistake i should not have donne that. when i got it, still wasnt sure if i did the right thing ( im going to leave the BIG PROBLEM with it till later ) Man my testicles absolutely love not being beaten when i ride, I had them cut the seat back an extra inch to give me some room to adjust during rides. Like i said best part doesnt ring my bells at every bump. Raised the seat height by a bit not a problem for my 32" inseam still very flat footed at stops. now the problems. 1 the Dumbasses @ corbin forgot to put the mounting holes for the bolts to attach the rear cowl. 2 The front ends of the cowl past the bolts has a very noticable gap between the seat and the 2 tips of the cowl. Spoke to corbin they said they would pick it up and install the mounting points. As far as the gap they basically said tough sh!t, if you squint your eyes and kind of cross them you will see that the pictures on our website show a gap. The more i think about the gap the more bothered I am. I will try to get a supervisor and have them stuff more of super fancy foam to fill the gap. We will see what happens with that. Other than those 2 super f*ck ups i really like the comfort and angle this seat offers. Would i recommend it mostly yeah but the rant would be attached.
Let the seat bashing begin......Again.
Pics or it didn't happen!
You might wanna adjust your tone before speaking with anyone at Corbin. You'll get better service if you're calm and polite. :)
???
I`ve squinted my eyes and crossed them, but still don`t see what you are talking about. Pics?
As soon as i figure it out ill post pics cause i swear this happened.

i hope this works
Ah...I see...
That would make me a little angry too, doesn't seem like they put a whole lot of thought into how the Tail Cover was going to fit...For a $400+ Ass Pad, I would expect a little better.
But could we get pics of the whole seat...maybe even the whole bike w/ said seat! Would love to see it!
im at work as soon as i get home i will get some better pics.
causeofkaos, I'd try to find a way to return it. Because that gap would be the only thing I see whenever I look at my bike. But an objective person would say to you that it's nothing to worry about. go figure
that's a poor fit, expecially for the $... I have read a lot of problems with the fit and finish on their seats on the older bikes too, not sure how good or bad they are as I haven't bought one myself.
So what is wrong with the DP gel seat ?
I mean, I can only speak for the 695 model but I did 3000 km in two weeks on it without any probs or a sore ass.
That Corbin stuff looks really bad and apparently also does not fit...so why bother ?
