I mean SERIOUSLY dude. you barely leaned over and you managed to run wide somehow. make the beast with two backsing IDIOT. Learn how to ride within your limits because that was WAY out of it. you can see him constantly trying to correct his line over and over again.

Looked like he was just being lazy in that first running wide (something I've done quite a few times), but DAMN, that last part was pretty darn stupid/close. I thought for sure his buddy was creamed when he went around the wrong way.
Yowza. That guy was soooo lucky. The last part of that vid was a total trainwreck. You don't get to ride in traffic like that if you can't even begin to hold a line.
I didn't think of it as stupid as much as much as terrifying. Look, we all do stupid things and ride above our ability sometimes. And we all make bad decisions, including decisions about the sort of conditions and pace we're comfortable with. This happens even more when we're starting out and don't realize our limits and how quickly and easily we can exceed them. I hope that guy learns from his almost-certain death experience, figures out the fundamentals of riding (which he clearly lacks) and rides at a pace and in conditions that are commensurate with his level of experience. If not, next time he'll get bitten. And bitten hard. :-\
Did he really flip off a car after putting so many drivers in danger? Someone needs to stick that finger up his arse.
At least he had the thought to take the opposite side of the road rather than hitting the car head on. Considering his obvious lack of riding skill, that surprised me.

Yup. Obviously someone else's fault. Gah!

I hope not. He and I are engaged in a long, extended argument.
Both of them basically wrecked but didn't hit anything. You think they actually learned their lesson? Probably not since they don't have any broken bones or road rash, AND they kept blowing corners. After the first one, you think they would have slowed down a bit.

Maybe that was just the signal they use for "pull off, I just shit my pants". The way they rode, that signal would get used a lot.
.....hittin' brakes mid curve.......
......generally don't end right.
only if your trail braking, but i guess you woulnt be hitting it mid turn, youd just be on it until you accelerate out.
Ok i guess its not stupidity. cause just the other day i had a situation just like this. I was about to make a turn (again, put yourself in city streets with terrifying SUVs that go 11tybillion mph. i going about 15mph and i know that by the time i cross the white line where you are suppose to stop, it would of just turned red, and since there is a 6 second delay i am good. I see a car in front of me opposite lane, he is slowing down, i basicaaly ran the light if you will. but again, urban streets, 6 seconds delay, theres traffic and no one can really gun it. Except this dude decides to flat out run the red light.
i am already about 25 degrees leaned over and hes just comming towards me, and he doenst wanna move. he actually drives INTO the direction im turning to. I dont think people realize motorcycles cant STOP when leaned over.
i throw my whole body to the right side and its a near death experience. when he took that huge lane shift he nearly took out my friend who was right behind me. >:(
make the beast with two backsING BASTARDS. was it his fault yes. but its always funny how i could prevent every situation by just being more aware then i already am. i hate nyc [puke]
The guys buddy sure wasn't trail braking and he leans his bike like a prancing fancy boy.
lol, i ment that to be a joke.
he efintely was turning like a pnasy, and he kept correcting his line by picking the bike up again and picking a new line...that was even wider.
That is truly a frightening video.
Neither of those guys belong on the road.
I am still stunned that they survived.
i soiled myself just watching that vid!!!! :o
True -- they are riding like make the beast with two backstards. But okay...
To me, it looks like there is more to that turn that what we can really see. Something is down in the ditch to the inside, and it looks like there is a massive pothole in their line too... I don't know... but either way -- why'd they upload it anyways?
Same reason a guy would ask the cops if this is about the youtube video. Pure Stupidity.
For a split second, it almost seemed like the second guy was target fixating on his buddy and following his swerve to the Left.... right into oncoming traffic. But then he had the presence of mind to lean Right, further into the turn. I guess both their stars were aligned, at least this time one time.
