Title: Akuma Helmets Post by: jackalope on May 09, 2008, 04:18:34 PM Anyone have any experience with Akuma helmets? It's coming up on time for a new lid, and i like the idea of having LEDs for extra visibility. Anyone with FHE?

Another option would be to install one of these on top of your helmet: http://www.newenough.com/closeouts/helmets/hjc/windlight_led_helmet_light.html (http://www.newenough.com/closeouts/helmets/hjc/windlight_led_helmet_light.html) The cost is cheap enough to pair it with your existing helmet, or on another helmet of your choosing. The drawbacks are that it seems bulky, it's available in only two colors, and it only works above 25mph. But for visibility/safety purposes, I would figure it does as much good as the Akuma LED's (which to say, is not alot). |
