Title: header for my s2r1k (Marving or Quat-D?)
Post by: Mash on October 13, 2008, 01:23:45 PM
been searching the interwebs for a header for my s2r1k and the only ones I can find reasonably priced are the Quat-D midpipe and the Marving cat eliminator, both at monsterparts.  I'll probably order one of these in the next day or two, but I don't know which one.  They're the same price, but look a little different.  (The spark midpipe is out of stock)

I'm running Termi slipons now and want to go with a full system.  Should I get the Marving or the Quat-D midpipe?

I got a Marving midpipe from monsterparts and it worked great with the termi slip ons.  Very sweet tone, but you will need a longer bolt on one of the case mount brackets for the midpipe.  Otherwise look and finish of the marving was very good.  See the pic below:

We've sold both.
The QD is better quality.
