I had heard that the led's were prone to vibrating and coming loose at the connector. So I made a "mold" outta a few layers of painters tape around the light itself and filed it up with silicone. Now the entire unit is one solid piece. 3k+ miles and all the LED's are still working... Not sure how this light in question is setup, but alittle silicone might go along way ;D Title: Re: LED tail light Post by: OverCaffeinated on October 15, 2008, 07:57:47 AM I've got that tail light.
Read here (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=5928.0) Recently I have noticed that the leds that light up the plate flicker. I have yet to investigate to see if its a loose wire or led. Still worth the money. I believe the CA light have had similar issues, dead leds etc. But that is the nature of all led lights on the road. Great experience with them they shipped right away. It is NOT a plug and play. The stock connectors are bullet style while the ones on the light are flat blade types. It is pretty bright i have nothing to compare it to... I am sure others are brighter but its seems quality and is less pricey.
