I mean other then motor and suspension, everything else looks identical. Any thoughts?

A couple of things we don't have that look like they will fit are the tank covers, low seat, and steering damper. The items that won't fit the 696 are the two exhaust options and the carbon rear guard. There are more 696 parts that will be a cross over as well. We should have our Ducati ordering for the M1100 in the next couple of weeks and I'll post up the exact details at that time. Title: Re: m1100 accesories on a 696? The slip-on might be the same pipe (don't know diameter yet), but the kit will have a different part number because of the ECU. it doesnt say, but is that 80's tank pearl white or just white. A lot of unknowns at the moment for you and I both, but I'll guess that it will be the same white on the 1100S. I assume the full system has larger diameter tubing and possibly a different design both of which will give a different power characteristic. I doubt it is for weight reduction because I can't see there being much lighter since the tubing is already minimal without cats or anything like that. They haven't announced the diameter yet though. The pics I've seen have been of a silver one, not white, so we'll see. I would love a grey one right about now to replace my black plastics with...
