Title: Consolidate Sponsor boards? Post by: TobyDanger on October 19, 2008, 06:54:41 PM I wonder if we are doing the sponsors a disservice by having 7+ separate sponsor boards, including minor. I'd love to see new items or specials that they have to offer, but personally, that's too many separate boards for me to check for new posts every time I log in.
Perhaps we could have one sponsor board where only the sponsors could create posts, but still list the sponsors names in the sidebar which could link to the sponsors websites. Or maybe the sidebar could indicate new posts in a forum the way the forum listing does (albeit with a rather subtle color vs b&w icon)? Thanks for listening, Toby Title: Re: Consolidate Sponsor boards? That way you get a quick e-mail whenever there's a new sale, special, whatever [thumbsup] Adam Title: Re: Consolidate Sponsor boards? If you click the triangle, the entire Sponsors section will collapse and you won't see the individual boards. Combine that with notification. That way, you'll get notification if there is a new post, but you don't have to scroll by the Sponsors boards on your way down to the local boards or classifieds. |
