149 (http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/229656/alfas_beautiful_little_number.html) I can't decide if its gorgeous or burns my eyes.
Me want !!! [evil]
Too bad we will have to wait and see how the 8C sells before they are going to bring over any other models. [bang]
And the 8C is only going to be available through Maserati dealers. [bang] [bang]
I'm not holding my breath. :-\
Not a huge fan of the hatch back, but a way nicer face than anything that gets here from VW. [thumbsup]
Not even going to compare it to a ford [puke]. Though the Focus is pretty fun to throw around for a rental [laugh]
undecided if I like it or not
Oooh! Look! They put an extra set of doors on the C30!

I dig it. [thumbsup]
I don't like the headlights,
...but it has a nice ass!

[roll] I guess they booth have 4 wheels... Its like saying Monsters and SVs look the same
I dont like that the car is a copy of the 8C. I liked the MiTo, but I dont care for the rear end of the 149. I liked the 147, especially the GTA.

Except that the Monster and the SV aren't built on the same frame, whereas the C30 and the 149 are.
it's cute an all... but needs AWD to be really fun ;)

Its a great looking car, but I'd still take a VW R32. At least I can find dealerships, parts and a healthy aftermarket. Alfa is to Aprilla as Ferrari is to Ducati in the US. I love Aprillas, but good luck finding a decent shop. A least Ducati has 1-3 dealerships in most states.
I want one [thumbsup], my 145 is getting on in years

+1
I much prefer the styling of the Brera, but it would do. [thumbsup]
And, yes, the Ford Focus is a pretty fun car to thrash around. I wouldn't mind finding an SVT for a daily driver.....
Maybe the 2 door version might change my mind, but I'm not a fan. The styling on the C30 seems to work better for the platform IMHO. +1 on the R32. It's a bad ass little whip.

Here's a few more pics:

Looks pretty good from the front, not so good from the rear.
Need to see it in the metal...

Yea the rear looks like a BMW and Civic hooked up. But it may look better IRL.
The two article are showing different designs for the rear end.
The OP article:

And the most article:

The first rear is boobies. [thumbsup]
The second is [puke].
So which is the real one?
Or is this all PhotoShop fantasy?

The top one I got from an reliable auto website. I'm hoping that is the real one. I will make a judgement after it is put up on the company website.
If you google the name, most of the new articles on webpages point to the nice looking rear.
It is gorgeous, and gives me a burning sensation when I pee. I really hope that it is the one from the OP.
The version with the 8c front and rear treatment looks better. Prob I have is that the front is too much a direct copy of the 8c.

I don't see why this is a problem; the 8C is sexy!!! [evil]
hatchbacks shouldn't come w/four doors...
still kinda neat, though

No doubt! Damn sexy! I don't want a little copycat Alfa running around stealing all the sexy and making it commonplace.

the 149 is missing the nice big curves over the wheel wells though.
and the bonnet is angled more upward on the 149, where as it is flatter on the C8.
I won't argue that the C8 is sexier. [evil] [bow_down]
I think it looks a lot like a Mazda 3 with an Alfa tweaked front end.

Nice! If my wife sees this, there goes my next Ducati ;D
I like it much better than the current 147. If you hate that rear check out the Megane: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/7a/Renault-Megane-IMG_1907.jpg
God I hate that car every time I see it. GF threatens to purchase one - I think mostly to annoy me.
Let her get it.
Then every time you walk out to the car, for as long as she owns it, you're completely justified in saying "DAMN that ass is huge."
She'll sell it inside of 2 weeks. Guaranteed.
Geez, that rear looks FUNKY!
JM
I still want one [thumbsup]
