It's funny how he notes everything leading to your death.
"I also liked the idea of a Vespa because most bikes are Japanese. This means they
are extremely reliable so you cannot avoid a fatal crash by simply breaking down.
This is entirely possible on a Vespa because it is made in Italy. "

If you attempt to mount your motorbike....you will be killed.
"i therefore hated my experience of motorcycling and would not recommend it to anyone." [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]
I read his review column religiously. They are hilarious enough on their own, but they are even funnier if you read them with his narration playing in your brain. If you watch enough Top Gear, that's not a stretch and kinda happens automatically.
The review for the Chrysler LeBaron convertible is priceless.

my BRC course instructor was a Dave!!!
Had to dig for it but here is the RSS link for Clarkson's column if anyone is interested.

Very funny. The repetitive "leading to death" is hilarious. Its exactly like talking to some of my non biker friends.
QuoteHowever, many people are making the switch because they imagine that having a small motorcycle will be cheap. It isn't. Sure, the 125cc Vespa I tried can be bought for £3,499, but then you will need a helmet (£300), a jacket (£500), some Freddie Mercury trousers (£100), shoes (£130), a pair of Kevlar gloves (£90), a coffin (£1,000), a headstone (£750), a cremation (£380) and flowers in the church (£200).
Classic [laugh]
Why would you need a coffin a headstone and cremation?
cuase youll be killledddd

Clarkson is the Lemmie of the Automotive review world. [bow_down]
I'm not sure that makes sense. But that makes me believe in it more. [drink] ;D
"It's a trick question. Lemmie is God." [evil] [drink] [bacon] [bow_down]

Multiple times according to him... hence the need for multiple avenues for disposing of your former self
Clarckson rocks... And if you don't get BCC America and can watch Top Gear - they have a YouTube Channel. Not as good a the real thing, but still pretty damn good.
