haha, that's awesome! Sometimes women can surprise us. As I have been mulling over what bike my wife is going to get me, either a triumph or a ducati, she says, "Yeah but is the triumph as cool as the Ducati? Will people stop you and say, wow, nice bike?" 

Shocked the hell out of me!! Think we both have keepers! [thumbsup]

My fiancée got excited when we blasted past an 883 on the Cherohala in a passing zone...  He throttled it, but the 883 didn't have to guts to out-accelerate a Monster 750 2-up!  She still talks about that and it was like 2 years ago ~

Yea, this reminds me of when I showed a picture of the new Blue S4R Monster to my wife - beautiful.  When I said, honey ...... if I can find a way to pay for one of these would you care if I get one?

She demuraly replied, "I don't give a make the beast with two backs what you do."

I envy you guys. I still haven't figured women out yet. ??? Just when I "thought" I began seeing a pattern and could predict the next move, I was as wrong as Jerry Jones believing he could buy a Superbowl title.

Hopefully, one day I will, at the very least, meet someone who likes riding as much as I do. My last girlfriend didn't care for it and wouldn't ride until we broke up. See what I mean? We're still great friends, but now she loves riding and can't wait to ride my 696.

But I'm a bit of a hypocrite, my girl is the one who got up one morning and said "lets go buy that bike you've been talking about", and now say "you need to get rid of that thing". Figure that one out.

I had some guy on a Japanese motard (sorry wasn't pay enough attention to get model) try to race me when I was 2 up w/ the GF on my M1000.  Wasn't sure if she'd be mad or not but I went for him it anyway and blew by him like he was standing still.  When we got home I was a little worried of what was coming but when she took her helmet she had the biggest grin and asked me what the guy was thinking trying to race us.

When I was thinking about buying a superbike a little over a year ago, I started looking at used ones figuring my wife would be more easily convinced that I should get one that way.

After looking at a couple, she said I should just go put money down on an 848 (they hadn't even been announced yet). Umm...OK!  [thumbsup]

Keeper.  ;D

Last summer my wife surprised me by enrolling both of us in Freddie Spencer's school at Miller Motorsport Park!  Cool wife!

I'm getting Mother's bike repainted. That means I'm a cool girlfriend too right?  ;D

tonight I was on my scoot zipping through traffic behind my wife, truth be known I was showing off a bit, I beat her to the house and was de-gearing in the driveway when she pulled up. I was expecting the third degree, but she opens her door and w/ the best grin says, "you need a track day" you got that right, sister :-*

My GF bought a 996 with me  for the track ;D

And she rides a badass monster

My Hubby and I went to 3 days of Code's Superbike school and the Indy MotoGP for our honeymoons; both my suggestions.

   

My girlfriend has three bikes. Nyeah nyeah  [cheeky]

My girl (soon to be wife; in two days!) could often be found working on my project bike when I was un able to due to work schedules. I kept her ;D

My girlfriend owned a 695 before I met her. It's part of how we met, actually. But it was destroyed in a fire (also before we met.)

This summer, after catching the riding bug again, she went out and bought an MV Agusta Brutale. Now we ride all over the place together. [thumbsup]

All sorts of jokes with sexual innuendo come to mind based on the fact she is riding a more bad-ass bike than you. But, I don't want to insult you with my comments, and it will just show how jealous I am anyway.

Doing our health insurance last week...

My wife says, "We had better get the premium insurance with the lower deductible cause you are racing next year."     [bang]

Funny thing... she bought the full Arrow system for my monster... went into MotoCorsa and said, "Can you sell me something to make my husbands bike go vvvvvvvrrrooooommmm?" (And she makes some funny deep motorcycle exhaust sound.)  I thought it was hilarious.

my wife tells me all the time "you need to go ride" or "ill be fine, just go" and doesnt get mad when i actually go riding.  last summer i was thinking about selling the monster to get another bike and she said to me "dont sell the monster, just buy another one"  now i currently have 3 bikes.  the last one i bought so i could teach her to ride because she wants to start riding now. 

when we met she was scared of bikes and didnt like riding but i took her for a few slow rides to get her comfortable and now shes hooked. 

i guess that makes her a keeper.

like toaster my g/f always encourages me to go ride.......plus just two days ago I was talking about selling my old Ninja which I learned to ride on and she hinted that if I kept it, she would take a few lessons from me on riding! 

Same here, now anytime we're putzing around town and she gets bored with the speed she squeezes me tighter and "spurs" me with her knees, saying GOOOOOO!!!!!.  It's just too bad we're both over 6' and not stick figures.  I'm sure a bike with a little more zing would do us right.  Hmmm, I might have to use that one.....

My wife used to tell me to "go play video games" when I was showing signs of needing to blow off some steam. Just like your wife, she was completely cool with me having my own stuff to do. Since I got into riding, she has told me to go ride several times and doesn't get offended that I go. The bike we bought last weekend was one that we did without selling the little bike and then she drops that she might sign up for the MSF course and learn to ride it. I think that it is the beauty of the S2R that is changing her mind, she knows she would look amazing in full gear.


I would go with that one, it just might do the trick!

Hell, my wife just called me out of the blue from the Duc dealership next to her work to inform me that she just bought a M695 and suggested I get down there and pick one out too [thumbsup] so I did ;D

We are all so lucky!
