All I have been able to find are "Rearsets" which I dont want, and from what the manufacturers of these sets have said is that even the adjustable types start at a "rearward" and "up" setting. [roll]
All I want is a standard position without the pillion extension and a bit better looking than the stock casting. [thumbsup]
Has anyone seen or heard of such an animal?? ;D
Sato and Rizoma seem to be where it's at.. They are pretty much the next and final thing I am going to get for my monster.. I'm really just looking for something I can move back and up a little to cater for my lanky frame.

Not sure if they actually cater for the standard positioning out of the box (like you mention), but I can't imagine they'd feel that different after getting used to them..
Once again, the state of the $Aus is making most bling purchases seem overly expensive right now.
Motowheels have also been doing things with the new 696 which I'm sure will translate.

What I was told (from where?) was that the Rizomas are very close to stock position in their most forward and lowest position. Don't take just my word for it - check it out if you want them. (my info was regarding SSS)
Maybe you could just powdercoat the stock ones and get new pegs?
ferracci sell "rearsets" for the monster made by febur. they are rearward and up but they have a cammed peg that you can roll forward and down to get damn close to the std position.
in fact, bevan at eurotwins (07 3715 5088) has a 2nd hand pair for sale that are unmarked, you should talk to him, he may be able to tell you exactly how close they are.
