getting some time-out errors when posting this morning.
I had a bit of that, and have been getting sporadic 'page not found' errors over the last couple weeks.
I get an occasional ff can't find the server error...
Not sure if this is related but on the bike of the moment home page I am getting?
An Error Has Occurred!

Clear your cookies one time (or at least those from ducatimonsterforum.org) and they'll be gone for good.
For some reason, whenever an upgrade is done to the SMF system, it futzes with the cookies.
I cleared my cookies. Now I have to clear them every time I leave and return to the site, or else I get the "session timed out" error when I try to respond to something. ???
Also, no side bar now. :'(
session time outs.....log out and login....session timeout......wtf

Did you delete the cookies from ducatimonsterforum.org before you logged back in?
I've had to clear my cookies about 5 times in the past 2-3 days. The error keeps coming back.

You should be able to do it in tools/options
Click tools/internet options/general and click delete cookies.
I don't think those are eliminated on a network install.
I could be wrong.
Keep in mind you'll need to log back in everywhere.

I can't even get past Internet Options. :-\ [bang] [bang] [bang]
If it doesn't work itself out, may be an IT fix.

Ask them if they can clear the cookies from ducatimonsterforum.org
Continuing to happen to me. Happened this afternoon both while I was on my corporate network and on my home network. I'm using the same laptop for both.
It is working sporadically for me. Some times I get to post, and others I get the time out error...
I cleared out my cookies and it worked OK for a day then time out errors again.
If I preview a post, I can then post, otherwise I get the time out error

This problem is perplexing.
I have only gotten one error.
Daryl hasn't had any.
We're not ignoring you.
Keep the reports coming.
Any specific error messages are always helpful.

Just happened on my phone.
Getting session timeout messages like the one above quite often now. I end up having to delete cookies and log in again.
It is indeed strange, right ater I posted the above, and without further cookie deletions, things were working fine, (I thought youd read my post and ixed it ;D) however this morning the same problems are back.
Edit. And to further complicate matters, this post went straight on ???
Daryl has been doing his homework and has some ideas to try and fix the issues.
He won't get to it till the weekend so we hope you can maintain patience until we get it squared away.
No worries. We love the DMF...even with its quirks :)
Thanks for looking at this, guys.
the past 2 days, I've got it twice.
And what's weird is I was expecting to get it again since it JUST happened when I tried to reply to the post about the dude with the wrecked Lotus. I shut down Safari, restarted and then I posted this.
Just got it again. Seems to be random...sometimes no error, other times yes. :-\
It truly is a PITA...
I guess I'm lucky because it's not happening to me.
It's now happening to Daryl, and as I said in a previous post he has some ideas.
I have ideas, but I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to code, and servers, and all the technical stuff. ;D

I get this message about 50% of the time I try and post. Now it's also doing it when I'm trying to PM.
Ok, I think this is finally solved.
I would like to extend an offer to anyone who meets the guys who wrote the SMF software... If you kick them in the balls, I'll buy you a sixer of your favorite beer.

These "time out" errors have been driving me insane!! [roll]
Seems OK now [clap]
I am getting timed out errors with Chrome, but IE works fine.
Has anyone else noticed this?
