Just found out that there's a gunshow at the Scope in Norfolk this weekend.
I'm going on Saturday. Anyone else?
too far, but how big is it and who's running it?
Showmasters put it on. Not bad. My bud found a H&K P7 for $600. I picked up a SOG auto(knife).
I was shocked at the prices some of the old military weapons are bringing! You can't touch an M1A1 for under a grand. I remember going into my dealer back in the 80's and seeing barrels full of M1s with a sign on the barrel "any gun in barrel- $30". If I'd had any clue, I'd have bought 'em all, and salted 'em away.
Almost forgot. Former governor and current republican Jim Gilmour stopped into the show for about a half hour to shake hands and look for votes.

Used were going for between 800-1200
NOS were 1100-1500
I saw one new/reissue. It was 1800.

I bought a CMP garand with a Springfield receiver and PB parts for $700 last year. Good ones are scarcer and scarcer.
I remember buying a Springfield Armory (not Springfield Inc) M14/S for $400. You can't touch them south of $800-900 now. If you get a Bush version, even more.
