Its amazing that 8 mph on cold tiers and cold pavement could cause $17000+! Just riding outa my driveway turning on to my street, goosed it like I always do, broke the rear tire loose, the bike went sideways and high sided! Not to worry the Insurance paid me what I paid for the bike plus tax...woohoo! Called Fay Myers yesterday and put a deposit on the new 1198 standard in white...I will be fine  [thumbsup]!

Dude.... I'd have taken the 17k, bought the bike back and had the first naked 848 on the block. Even before Ducati(maybe) releases a "Fighter".

1 - Glad you are okay.  :)

2 - $17k for a drop?   ???

3 - I can't imagine that anything is wrong with the frame, engine & tranny.  I'm sure there is a future racebike there.   [moto]
