I've not been around as much as usual lately but it seems to me that Silentbob has gone ....silent.
Did something happen to him ...or have I just not seen his posts. Dolph

Lots of work, broken wrist, and appendicitis have kept me busy.

You didn't crash did you?
Yeah, I crashed the Husky. It wasn't that bad. The wrist was fractured but not displaced. I rode home and had to move heavy objects since I was still in the middle of a moving into a new place. Eventually I made it to the doctor and got some X-rays. He said it was fractured and I should put a cast on it. Since he couldn't give me a cast that would allow me to work the throttle on the bike and type on the computer, I had to pass. After about 4 weeks I was able to break up the adhesions and get most of the movement back.
Then I went dirt bike riding in the desert and woke up in pain the next day. My urine was very dark and the pain was near the right ureter. I had a kidney stone about 15 years earlier and thought this might be another one brought on by the dehydration from riding in the desert all day. After a day and a half it was clear that I wasn't getting better so I figured I would stop by the hospital and see if they could see if the stone was going to pass or if I needed to do something about it. They took a urine sample and said my urine was dark because I was still very dehydrated but there was no blood in it. Then they took some blood and it was like jello so they started me on IV fluids. Then they sent me down for a CT scan to see if I had a stone. The doctor came in with the results and asked how the pain was. I said it was about a 3 or 4. Then he told me I had an acute appendicitis and they needed to remove it immediately since it was over 18 cm long and about to rupture. I heard him on the phone with the surgeon describing me as very stoic with an extremely high pain threshold. I didn't bother to tell him that my wrist was still broken.
The good news is that losing that appendix should drop a few tenths of a second off of my lap times.

Yikes
3-4 huh :o? Glad they caught it in time.
So, how's the wrist?
The wrist is getting much better. I started lifting weights and shooting guns again and it seems to be loosening up.
