Fackin Parkhurst Racing...slow in the corners, hit the turbo boost in the straights. And if that doesn't work, just crash into the guy.

You could see that one coming.  :-\  I hate people who are just so sketchy and aggressive that they get places by the simple fact that the other racers aren't as fackin' crazy and retarded as they are.  We all have to go to work on Monday, dude.  From the vid, it didn't look close.  It's not like you stuck your nose in there at the last minute and then he chopped it off.  You *already* passed him on the brakes.

he stayed upright.  I got the crash removed from my record.  I didn't bother protesting at the time -- didn't see the footage until later.  :'(

What an ass, you clearly had the racing line and he totally cut you off. It was a fair pass.
That guy should get fined for being reckless assh*le.

That sucks.  Tigre said the same guy drove another racer off course earlier in the race.  Hopefully the AFM will keep a close eye on him next season.

What a dick move. Watching that guy was watching an accident waiting to happen. Unfortunately you happened to be at the wrong spot when he decided to have it.  [roll]

Did he give any hint of logic to his move?  It's not like he had a wheel on you and he had some sort of shot at getting past you.  It appeared that he might have been nose to nose and then decided to ram you from the side.  My guess is that he was hoping that you'd put on the binders when you saw him coming at you, but who knows...  That's just crazy-aggressive---borderline insane really. 

And you mentioned that he pushed Schwanbeck off track earlier in the race, right?  If I were you I'd consider making him my winter project.  Compile the evidence and put it in the hands of someone who can do something with it.

I'm *still* trying to figure out how he got enough in front of you to turn in from the outside and then take out your front wheel?  You clearly got past him on the brakes.  WTF was he trying to do?  He had to see you.

Apparently I braked harder than he did and when I turned it, he decided he had re-established position and then just turned in on top of me (my inside line be damned).  I started an entertaining thread on BARF.

Well, I broke my longstanding rule and followed the link to BARF. (I just don't have that many brain cells to spare anymore)

It seems like they pretty much all called it, and jumped on the one guy who said, essentially, "meh, that's racing".

So what I want to know is if this guy is such a well-known menace why do they tolerate him? I don't get it...?

OK, I'll give up trying to apply logic to the situation. It clearly is the wrong approach.

I'm thinking about saying something to the AFM board.

What I don't get is why he was riding like that in the first place.  I totally respect giving it your all even if you're just trying to keep from being dead last (and I know that that isn't the case here!)  And I can see battling for the championship or a huge pile of money, but taking someone out for the shot at a little plastic trophy seems kinda lame.  Even he's got to realize that he was incredibly lucky not to have put both of you in the hospital.
