A 749 and an R1200S got schwasted on at a Halloween party and forgot to use a condom.

I think it looks great! Reminds me of the Ducati Scrambler (newer one off one)

Of course the exhaust would be hard to handle, but perhaps the sections near the rider's body could be made of double-walled, ceramic coated special pipes that do not transfer heat to the rider.  Maybe a carbon fiber covering would work.  I have carbon fiber mufflers on my Monster.  After a ride I can touch the mufflers without being burned.

bike looks great except for the absolutely horrible headlight and tail chop.

that single seat thing without something behind it is awful.

Lovely!  The number plate seems a bit silly,though; I can't imagine it being all that dirtable.  Of course, the 1200GS can handle it, so, why not?

And I agree that the headlight / bracket needs a little more love.

I think I am having a mid life crisis or something, I am too young to like a BMW. Please tell me the Italians styled this thing , I really don't want to start thinking of myself as brandist but BMW's are something that people don't ride for their looks.

That's the new anti-gravity side-stand. BMW has always been known for putting new technology into their bikes.

Those rims are hot. I dig it. It's just a concept, with some work, I think it could be really great.

The cool thing about this bike is that it is designed to be modular.  If you don't like the techno dual headlights then order the round one.  If you don't like the high pipes then get the low ones.  If you want a cafe racer look then it is available.  I think it is an awesome concept.  I hope they bring it to market.

Yum.  Turn the red lower engine bright beemer blue and that's not a bad bike.

That headlight (or the interchangable round one) and those wheels would make the streetfighter a better bike visually.

No chain maintenance and imagine having to do a valve job? Mmm...easy access.

1st thought when i saw the bike: "looks like a confederate hellcat"

That bike looks cool as hell.  All of those options would make it awesome.  First BMW I've ever remotely been attracted to.

The Low Rider name has been used by HD for over 30 years.  It was kind of a pregnant dog move by BMW to use the name for their custom concept bike.

Hate to say it but maybe ducati should hire the design guy away from BMW before they become more of a threat [laugh]

I would seriously consider that BMW over the new monster re-style

You can go out to the BMW motorcyle sight and provide feedback on the concept plus vote for your favorite - while the economy could be a hindrance, it would seem BMW is looking to bring this factory custom concept and bike to reality - Id add one to my stable!!  giddy up! [thumbsup]

Kinda cool that BMW is asking for input.

Anyone heard any rumors of this bike being put into production by BMW? Did a quick Google search but found no updates.

I have a buy who works at a BMW dealer and he says he has heard rumors of the bike being built as a 2011 Model..

Perhaps we'd make suggestions like an easily choppable tail, a tank that doesn't dent, and more power?
