Has anyone done the 'flipped' handle bars on their Rs or other Monster?
I have heard about it, but I have never actually seen it first-hand. My take on it is that the flipped bars are the poor-man's clip-ons.
On the plus side: cheap, fairly easy mod, all parts already included with the bike.
Negatives: Tank clearance? other?
BTW, I tried searching for this on TOB just before the big change, and was unsuccessful.
Any of you guys have photos or links, opinions or advice? Is it worth doing, or are clip-ons the only way to fly?
Many thanks.

I did it on my S2R1000. Worked well and wasn't too low. Just put above the triple Apex clip ons on. Haven't ridden yet, but they are definitely lower than the flipped bars.

Although it is a cheaper alternative to clip-ons, I didn't like the angle on my wrists. Clip-ons give you more choices with wrist angle.
