I've ridden it, it's a nice comfy bike. The brakes (rather, the lack thereof) are scary though.
With my luck, my helmet, in the same position, would fall in the ocean.

Ya know I never thought about it, but wouldn't a helmet float? Not that you'd want to put your face into it all full of skanky harbor water...
Oh, and on topic, that's a great photo, and one that makes me a tad jealous -- my girlfriend had a dream the other night that my dad decided to get a bike and ride down to see us. That's only slightly more likely to happen in real life than the ones where you can fly just by spreading your arms. Enjoy riding with your dad!!!
Dad got me into bikes, he paid half the cost of my first bike when I was 17 (he actually bought it as a surprise and then told me it was mine if I paid for half). Without him I wouldn't be here!

I think we can all say that [laugh]
It would be fun to go on a trip with a dad though.

I keep working on my dad to get a bike. But it aint happening anytime soon. But anythings possible. He did just get a Jetta TDi like mine.

My Dad got me into riding and I got to spend some nice time with him for one summer. His friend got into a pretty serious accident and he never got on again. What a bummer [bang]
Cool pic.
My dad got me into riding also, around the age of 12 or so. :)
Unfortunately, a couple of years later, someone pulled out in front of him and he t-boned the car, bounced off the hood and landed in the street on the other side. One knee was pretty messed up for a while. He repaired that bike (CB750) and sold it along with the other one (BSA chopper) he had at the time and has never been on a bike since. :(
My dad had a nasty get-off in 1964 on a Cushman Eagle. He never really brought up the subject of bikes [laugh]
