Title: Riding position while cornering

Saw this thread over in Riding Techniques.

Hoping some of you edjumakated folks will comment.  :)

Quite different from my 'dirt bike refugee/Doohan imitation' style, somewhat like this but a lot further from the ground.  [laugh]  :P

I've had that same class with those two guys, very informative  [thumbsup]

What I've learned is that when you ride like that, you have to lean the bike over way more to go trough a corner at the same speed because there is less weight going towards the inside of the corner. Thusly, you are more prone to finding the limit of your bike and tyres and lowsiding :-[

i worked with ty on his first foray into rider school and private instruction about 10 years ago. he's a great guy, and ridiculously fast.  [thumbsup]
