Personally I don't use it anymore. Hopefully there's no DMF'rs with issues.

The DMF paypal account just let me withdraw funds to the DMF checking account so no issues here.
^^^^ Good to hear. [thumbsup]

Too much is never enough! ;D
never had a problem once in all the years I've had the account
make the beast with two backs paypal. Long story, but basically they ripped me off for almost $1k. ALWAYS use a separate, dedicated bank account for PP.

I just spent an hour on the phone with these retards over holding funds. This is a B.S. policy. I told them to get bent. I accept Am Ex, Visa, MC and Discover. They don't hold payment for 21 days or until my customer leaves feedback.
I also noticed that Ebay does not allow a seller to leave negative feedback for a buyer. What a bunch of bullshit!
Damn! Sorry to hear you guys are having trouble. I was hoping this was isolated. >:(
I have been talking to Ebay and pay Pal about this new policy. Basically Ebay has put a hold on funds being transferred to sellers if they do not have a feedback rating of 100 or more. They will hold the money until the buyer posts positive feedback or for 21 days which ever comes first. Their idea is to make transactions safer for buyers. What they do not consider is if the seller is a legit business or not. My solution to this was to just use our own credit card processing system which is Verify.net. They are one of the largest on the net and if you have ever bought anything from a web site you have probably used their system. Ebay really does not like this idea. Pay Pal is owned by Ebay. Ebay also has another system that allows sellers to accept credit cards without going to a PayPal account called Pro Pay. Problem is that the fees to use this are stupid high. There is a initial buy in of a couple hundred bucks depending on what level you want to play in and the percentage is as high a any other card I have seen. They really want to keep the money in the Ebay system. Neither system is what I would call great for the professional seller.
Think about this. I have one listing for a buy it now product at a fixed price of $400 with 20 available. If all 20 sold, Ebay could hold $8000 for three weeks. That is one item. If I had ten similar items at the same price that would be 80 grand. It is true that if I was selling that many products that my feedback rating would meet the requirements pretty quickly. The problem is that I am a little guy with a new business in a bad market. I need my operating capitol to roll over as fast as possible. Rant over.
Here is my solution. Help if you can.
Pay pal has changed their policy and now is holding payments to sellers for up to 21 days for seller accounts who have less than 100 for their feedback score. I a 100% satisfaction score and have been selling on ebay for a long time. I know these things are free for DesmOhio members if you are at the clubhouse but I need to get this Pay Pal shit out of the way. Thanks for the help.
Here is the auction

This auction is for a Ducati Owners Club patch pin and decal for 2008. I am auctioning these for 99 cents to cover shipping and that that is the minimum Ebay will except. The only reason I am auctioning these is because of the new Pay Pal policy of holding a sellers funds for up to 21 days for sellers that have a feedback rating of less than 100. Mine is at 72. If you purchase one of these please POST POSITIVE FEEDBACK as soon as you buy the item. I will ship USPS. If you are a DesmOhio member these items are free to you but I still charge the 50 cents to ship them unless you pick them up at the clubhouse. Buy if you want but I am really asking for a favor so that I can get my Pay Pal account operating the way it used too before this B.S. policy went into effect. If you do buy the item I will offer you a 10% discount on just about anything on the www.motorcyclewishlist.com web site. Thanks for your help.

Chris, the link isn't working.
It is an Ebay conspiracy! Here is the listing number 130268800906. Just pump that in to the the Ebay search engine and you should see the listing.
