A chill is in the air, so it must mean it's time for improbably small people who don't ride to be showing off the new years Ducati wears.
Nov 14th 6-9 pm at Colemans FC.

It's an amusing time, and they have had discounts on some stuff (probably left over previour years stock) food etc.
I think I might hit it up.
This should be fun, I will come out to see some Ducati Hotties [thumbsup].

Sometimes that is a relative term. We saw the "models" sent to Donnie's for a shoot. :o
Battley's is having the fashion show as well - using the Hooter's Girls. I actually heard a lengthy ad for it on WTOP.

Maybe there can be a gang fight between the 'models' at Colemans and the Hooters girls... *that* would be a show.

there's a hot tub store around the corner from Battleys. [evil]
Nothing against Hooters girls, but I'm going to try to make it to Coleman's on Friday.
I remember going to a few Ducati related events before Matt left Coleman's FC. He used to get the perky Peroni girls to serve some “Italian style in a Bottleâ€. [bow_down]
Ditto, DucPond Friday AM, Coleman's Friday Evening - Gene
Got some good photos - too many for Flickr basic to handle it seems. I'll get them up as I can
Friday evening at Battley was pathetic...1st...there were 2 girls from Hooter's, 1 was wearing thehotpants and the other was...well...just well endowed in the chest (or as the Scottish would say, she had VAST tracts of land!) but otherwise nothing else to denote her as a Hooters girl...then the other 4 models were Paris (the guy from the parts department) and 3 young early teen girls whom were obviously someone's daughter(s)...
okay...so the runway walk was well....half Harley Davidson...and that stuff was streetwear for younger females of the Harley meets hip-hop variety....then they modeled a couple of their Spidi pieces which consisted of about 15-20 percent of what was models and the rest was Ducati wear...and maybe 1 piece of it was something I had never seen before....a jacket for guys modeled by Paris...
on a good note...it does look like Battley put a vast investment expendature in Spidigear from the last time I was there a few months ago...they had alot of their stuff available to try on and leave with if someone desired...
Hmm based on that and what I saw at Colemans... it doesn't really seem like the Ducati 2009 gear made it to the area in time. The colemans event started off with a couple rounds of Ducati gear, but quickly petered out into a veriety of other stuff, Rev'it, Vanson, Icon, Fieldshier and others all made appearances.
Amd the Ducati stuff that did make it out, I'm pretty sure was from the '08 line of stuff. There were a couple perennial 'winners' like the Ducati bikini that made multiple appearances under other jackets.
Models were mostly Colemans staff, seeded with a couple 'pros' - None would make fashion week, but some of the Coleman folks were pretty entertaining.
Speaking of entertaining, I got a couple shots of Drews wife stuffing a dolla in the waist band of 'Chocolate Bear' - saving those ones for ransome though
haha Chocolate bear...the DJ was pretty funny too.
Took the plunge on a SmugMug account and my photos are up... after many hours of upload time they are up. My camera wasn't set up right for the first few rounds... boo on me.
