I am trying to find a good home for Bill Bowen's Monster 900. I was going to purchase it if/when it became available. It is now available but when I thought about it, it should not become a garage queen, it should be ridden. With 5 bikes in my stable, including 2 Monsters, it just would not get the use with me as the owner. Although there is a thread with that bike between Nora, Bill, and I, I just think it deserves an owner that will put it too good use and continue the Mods that Bill started. Am I wrong? If interested please contact me. It is a 99' which started out as a city, believe all the Orig. parts are available. - Gene
So let's see it. :)
what is his son/family looking to get for it?
Already got a 900 so not looking for another - but yeah I think it should see the roads again. It shouldn't end up gathering dust some place... And if it does, it should be some place more public. A half cocked idea I just had would be to set it up at Donnies. But that would be asking a lot of Donnie.
Doesn't at least one of his sons ride? I though one did - why not keep it in the family if that's the case I wonder?

They both ride, one already has a Monster 900S, Bill went and retrieved it for him and rode with me back to Va from Springfield Mile. The Paso ended up with the other son down In Fla.

Going out to take pictures tomorrow, will send them to interested parties that are serious about a purchase. Send me an email, not a PM.
For those that have not seen or heard the bike I can speak from experience that it runs and sounds awesome. I believe that it has FCR carbs on it as well.
Got the pictures but also found a potential new owner today, a perfect match I think, I will update if the deal falls through. - Gene
